Removing Pass. side eshaust manifold..

I've got the drivers side manifold off, the Y pipe off, and the cat off. I'll be getting my headers in on thursday so I'm not in a hurry. It looks really cluttered on the pass. side. Does anyone have any tips for getting the last 3 bolts off of the exhaust manifold??

Thanks!

Does the starter just bolt in and out, or do I have to do anything else to it? I don't have any expertise with shimming or anything like that, so if it doesn't just bolt in and unplug then I should probably just try it with the starter on. Thanks for the advice.

With the SLPs I just put all bolts in from the top, a couple of scraped knuckes and some cursing and it all worked out fine.

I agree with custman87T/A. It been 2 weeks since I finished mine and I still have battle scars. You think it was fun getting those manifolds out just wait til you try and cram those new headers down that hole. Removing the starter may be your best option and try putting the passenger side header in from the bottom. Next time I will just yank the @%$# motor.

Well I just can't seem to get the very last bolt off.. I can't get a ratchet on it, or a closed end wrench.. I'm trying from underneath and above but I can't get anything on it..

Also, I got the nuts off of all of them but on a couple, the bolt is not coming out, whats the best way to get the entire bolt out, or should I just wait till i get the whole manifold out?
Thanks!

Nevermind, I got it off eventually. I had to go in at a wierd angle (almost parallel to the manifold) from under the car and use a closed end wrench.

Thanks to all who replied.. I can't wait to install the new headers on thursday, heh, not.

For those hard to reach or turn bolts I used a torch and bent a 3/8 box wrench into a 90 deg. angle and it fits and works fine
