just looking for some feed back from owners of the Edelbrock header systems...This system will be installed in replace of stock and will migrate into a 3" catco/Hooker Comp cat back system.

Happy with mine so far, not running the same as you from the cat on back though.

I'm running that exact setup on my 350. The TES/Catco/Hooker Aerochamber setup is pretty sweet and I've been happy with it. No problems with the install, performance is fine. I didn't coat the headers though so they're a little on the ugly side (I don't give a rats *** about underhood beauty... Coating would be nice to make sure they last but I'm cheap so hey.)
On my brothers 305 we're running a similar setup as well with the TES/Catco/Flowmaster and it's pretty nice too. I prefer the Hooker cat-back to the flowmaster myself though.
SLPs are probably better but they're darn near double the price by the time you get the install kit if you don't get on a group purchase or something...

I have the TES, Catco Cat, and Flowmaster 3" Cat back and I love it. The sound is extremely loud. I just installed the headers last week and they seem to get better each day. I have heard there is a bit of "break in time" with headers before they really start performing because of the metal. I lost some low end with the addition of the headers, which didn't make me happy though. I am searching for a solution to that one. But overall, it was well worth it.

I have the exact same set-up as you are going to install. I have to say, its one great exhaust set-up. All in all, it probably reduced my 1/4 ETs by a good .7, probably more. I would hihgly recomend this set-up, most importantly the headers. For the price, there is nothing that comes close.
