My car is registered in South Dakota but I live in Ca since my dad is in the military he doesnt need to register his car in the state he is in. My question is if I get pulled over the car is registered to him and technically does not need o meet that states emissions. So the fact I have no cats on the car should not be an issue. I know if I intend to register it then it will be but hey that is the future. I think South Dakota is the few states that do not require catalytic converters due to offraoding in the badlands cause fires. Any input will be helpful thanks.
