I am in a tight situation right now, I had to buy a cat from Napa and it's not a high flow one, just a universal fit. I didn't have the money at the time to buy a Catco like I wanted. I was thinking about gutting the cat but decided not to so I can hopefully pass emissions. How much will this cat hinder my performance over a high flow one?

I payed $80 for it, I already had it installed because I was supposed to go through emissions this weekend but they were closed for the weekend holiday. I came back from college to pick up my car and have to leave tomorrow so I thought I had to get the exhaust put on right away and didn't have time for the high flow one. I think I really need the cat since I have failed emissions 5 times by a lot, like 5x the legal limit on the readings.
