My IROC
We could(and have) argue(d) endlessly about which exhaust sounds the best, and it really comes down to personal preference. I've got a Flowmaster on one IROC, and while I don't find the sound overly annoying, it's not going to put a smile on my face either. On the other IROC I've got 3.5" pipe, which is split after the axle, one side feeding a Borla muffler(3" in/ 2 x 2 3/4" out) and the other side going to a plate with 2 x 3/4" holes. That system definitely puts an ear-to-ear on my face every time I start it, and keeps me happy as long as the motor is running. I really enjoy the low-bass and have gotten a lot of favourable comments about the sound. Then again, two people have told me the exhaust sounded like it belonged on a heavy truck(again, personal preference).
The downside to Borla(at least the only one I can think of) is the high-cost. If you're not comfortable spending $500+ on a catback system(and the sound and the million-mile warranty don't influence you otherwise), then you'll probably want to look at something else.

I'll be selling my SLP before long... hint hint.
SLPs is pretty good. It's quite at idle but has a very deep sound. It gets much louder at full throttle. I've heard it resembles the hooker aerochamber alot because of the deep sound.

Yea, it's me. Thanks man. The cowl hood is not painted yet. I ordered it from unlimited products but when they sent it to me, it managed to get cracked. We're going to refiberglass the side and get it painted. I missed the fav thirdgen category, but thanks. I've got the emblems on now, and the hood will be next. I think I'm going to restore the interior next. But thanks man, took nine months of a part time job, it's nice to hear people like it.
