Will this work, Please Help???

On my TES headers I have the air tube piping that runs along the top of the headers. I was wondering if I could get a shop to cut them off and weld the holes closed. This will help me re route my plug wires, so they're not touching the headers or themselves.

cut them off and put little caps on them from Home Depot. that way you could put them back later if you wanted.

Wouldn't the caps blow off due to the pressure. Also I'm up at college and don't have access to any cutting tools. And I'm pretty sure I'm not going to need the tubes in the future. So could it be done.

They shouldn't blow off. People have done it before.

Sorry for sounding stupid, but what kind of caps would I need, are they in a special section at home depot. Also I am off at college and don't have access to any tools, and was hoping a shop could do this, So I'll probably just have a shop do it.

Ask on the general tech board. Make a post like "How to cap of air line tubes". I think they were little brass plumbing caps but I can't remember exactly.
