i know, i know, recommendation on 92 Z exhaust

hey guys!
I just bought a 92 Z and i'm the luckiest 19 yr old (my b-day today!) !
Anyways i'm looking to get an exhaust, can someone steer me in ther ight direction?
I want a full catback... and i believe it's a dual cat. setup (350 TPI L98)
also I would prefer a hooker catback if I can get one.... i'm on a bit of a budget.
thanks guys
garett

i have a 91 z28 350, my setup right now is stock exhaust with series 80 flowmaster muffler, before the muffler, i have an exhaust cut-outand it lies after the cat. cat => cut-out => muffler If you want a loud deep rumble this is a n easy chaep way to go. Another good system is a Hooker Cat Back exhaust, i think there around 259.00, in summit and jegs.

No mike, the hooker doesn't fit our g0d damned dual cat cars...
Unless you do custom work...
I would've ordered my exhaust this weekend but i'm not sure which one i want yet, and people aren't exactly being too helpful..
I dunno if the hooker is worth it, b/c custom work is required...
The flowmaster= blowmaster
Borla= too much money
SLP= 2 on the left

I know there are other options, but i do not know how good they are, i wish i could get a little help too...

okay well my exhaust obviously isn't stock cuz it has ONE catalytic converter! What's up with that? It look slike stock exhaust off a 305 IROC or something.
can I just go ahead and order a Hooker for single cat car then?
thanks

i believe the dual cats was an option.. not sure. it appears a lot of the 91 or 92 Zs have dual cats but you could probably delete that option. dual cats are supposedly good for about 10 more horsies.. yippee..

Just a thought but have you checked your RPO codes and made sure that your 92 came with a 350. This was a rare option. Alot of people just stick on the rear emblem,

Well my RPO code list is gone... but the 8th digit of the vin is an '8'. it's a hard top... 4 spd auto and it sounds like an L98!
I'm pretty sure it's a 350 TPI it's just the car was in a bit of an accident a few years back and I think the owner just put in a single cat exhaust or something.
Anyone have an idea of what exhaust I should run?
