Ok, just like it says.

What brand muffler makes what kind of sound? And compare it to the known sound of the Flowmaster 2 chamber.

i.e. Is it louder, deeper, quieter, etc compared to the 2 chamber flowmaster?

Ive heard a few flowmasters on thirdgens, some loud to kinda mellow, but i love the sound of my Hooker exhaust MUCH better!!!! It is noticable at idle, but really roars at WOT. With headers and a high flow cat, a big increase in performance will be noticed, along w/ an awesome sounding "old school muscle car" sound.

haha, yeah that helps....

The reason I ask is because a week ago I heard THEE best sounding 4th gen I have ever heard. It was like nothing I've ever heard before on any car. It was just bad *** .

It did NOT have the tell-tale sound of a y pipe and cat-back (you can hear it in all our 3rd and 4th gen f-bodies, even with aftermarket mufflers etc...).

So I was wondering if it might have had dual exhaust....

Anyway, it had a VERY deep, VERY low frequency exhaust note to it as it cruised by. It was smooth sounding, not mustang 5.0 smooth, but better I think, and got pretty loud when he gave it a little throttle.

All I know is it was an LT1 Camaro and I saw stock exhaust tips.

I really wanna find out what he has on it cause I'd love to do the same to mine.

My friend just bought a '93 Z28 with a Crane Cam in it (we're still not sure which one, all the seller said was that it was the most radical one he could install without custom computer work), a Hypertech Power Programmer, and a K & N filter.

Let me tell you, with the stock EXHAUST manifolds and stock muffler the thing CHUGS really, REALLY deep. It's AMAZING. I must say the cam really makes it chug; my friend's 94 T/A is nowhere near as loud/deep.

I did hear a Borla on a LT1 and damn it was loud and raspy. I kinda liked it.
