you'd either have to run both tailpipes out the left side of the car or put the 40 before the axle then run 2 tail pipes over the axle to stock sides.

I forget who suggested this but, You could use something like a truck cat-back. Dual straight tails that go over the axle. Is this possible?

that's the idea but truck pipes have so much room I doubt you could make them easily fit to a f-body.

I could get a shop to custom make pipes no? How much do you think that would be

I have a 40 series on my G. Its got 3" going in and a custom 3" single tail on the driver's side. I just put headers and a gutted cat to it and its VERY loud now. I like the single tip though... looks like a v6. Later

The 80 series is the one made for thirgens. I have the 80 on my car, and even though thats the only different element in the exhaust system (the rest is stock), it still sounds really nice, I mean REALLY nice. I let one of my friends have fun in it the other night and he gunned it and it literally sounded like an old musclecar on the dragstrip (and its only a 305). Wonderful sound. I hope the headers make it better!!

Yeah the 80 sounds nice but I want louder. I have a 40 on my truck and it puts the 80 to shame. I'm getting headers this winter (if everything goes the way I plan) and I'm thinking of a 40 for my car
