It took me 7 beers over two days.

The only "special" tool I needed was a Snap-On long, thin, straight 3/8" 12 point double boxed end wrench (that sombich probably ran the guy I borrowed it from 40 bucks) to tighten down the header bolts in between all the emissions junk in the way.

The hardest part was getting the old manifolds off. The factory installs these metal tabs that get bent over the heads of the bolts. So you cant get a socket/wrench on there without opening them up.

Have them on my car not that hard of an install but I instaled a set on an 88 comarro and they hit the stering shaft so we had to replace the motor moounts to get the clearenc we needed it was that or smack the headers with a hammer didnt care to do that to a set of 400 headers.

Did you have to lift the engine, move brake lines, or replace the motor mounts?

How did you get the passenger side header in?
