Getting cat-back have questions.
Getting cat-back have questions.
I am getting a cat-back but I'm not exactly sure which one to get. Most catalogs don't list a lot of info. I want a 3" internediate pipe and tailpipes on the opposite sides. Tips are not important ( I want some like FiReBReTHa has ), don't need stainless. What do you guys recommend. I want a deep rumble at idle, and I want to scream when I get on it. I like the way the Hooker system sounds, but haven't found anything about its size. Thanks.
Look online at jegs, and it will show u the specs on it,and which one is right for u.

Ok, went to jegs online. Hooker has two kits for my car, one is for H.O. and TPI, the other is for low-performance 305s like mine. I am also adding a 3" cat, and adding TPI exhaust manifolds and a new y-pipe. So I need the H.O. system right? I think it is the one with the 3" I-pipe, right?
All of the hooker systems are 3 inch, the only difference is how they bolt on to the cat.I think the Ho is for a 4 bolt flanged cat, and the non Ho has a 2 bolt flange.I just put a 3 inch pipe in place of my cat and welded it.
