about to order exhaust..
i'm about to order the hooker cat back for my 89 trans am and.. i don't know what engine code i have.. can someone tell me which one i order? i have the 305 fi LO3 my vin number is 1G2FW 21E6K L2119 21 if that helps.. which one?

With the L03, you have engine code E. The eighth character denotes the engine code.
But - that doesn't mean you necessarily have to use the catback for that application. If I'm not mistaken, I believe 66-16820 has a 2-1/2" intermediate pipe, and the other two have a 3" pipe. 66-16822 used to be around $200, but apparently they were selling too many of those. BTW, if you find it cheaper, it comes with a 4-bolt flange which can be cut off and a piece of pipe spliced in its place. Hope this helps...

They all have 3'' I pipe. The only difference is the cheap one has a rectangular 4 bolt flange that hooks to the cat. I ordered that one, had it cut off and welded up.
