Just installed hedman long tubes.

I installed the Hedman long tubes the other day and I just wanted to tell everyone how good they fit, the passenger side slid right in from the bottom without having to jack up the motor, and cleared everything perfectly, I even used the factory starter and it is not close to touching the header. On the drivers side I had to cut some of the A arm but other than that it slid in perfect from the bottom without jacking up the motor. If you look under the car you cant even see the headers, they sit nice and flush with the bottom of the car (but not touching) my car is lowered and I have plenty of ground clearance. I also istalled polurethane bushings which may have helped with clearance but I didnt try installing the headers until I had them in already. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

Yup, that A arm was right in the way for me too. The passenger side I did from above though, so I took the starter off.

Not me. If you're looking for LTs then I'd recommend Hooker if you wanna build a fast car. If you need the flow, Hookers are the way to go Hookers are 1-3/4" ... not 1-5/8" like the Hedmans.

I was wondering what type of yipe or exhaust you were were running and about the ground clearance you had. i was thinking of hedman 2 1/2 s extensions to two mandrel bends on each side into a flowmaster y pipe into either 3 or 3 1/2 cutout with a reducer into the hooker cat back, if i go with the 3 1/2. What does everyone think a 3 1/2 y pipe and cut out a waste of money?

Also you say that you have good ground clearance, do you scrape coming out of the driveway or over speed bumps? My car is my daily driver so i can't afford to have a non street friendly exhoust. If you could post some pics of underneath from the side. Thanks

I have a new set of hedman LT's just waiting to go in. I just need to remove the factory oil cooler lines and get a oil filter adapter.

I have open headers right now while I am figureing out what to do about exhaust, I am thinking of a way I could run duals without having to use bullet mufflers because I think it will be too loud and I will get pulled over, I think I might just get an exhaust shop to make a custom y-pipe that is 2 1/2 inch into one of those flowmaster Y collectors into my factory catback, but I dont know yet so I will let everyone know when I get it done. Ground clearance will not be a problem with the headers themselves but I dont know about the rest of the exhaust yet.
