Quick question on running my exahust with the cats cut out?

I just cut the very front of the cats on my car, meaning the took a grinder and just cut right through the two pipes.

how long can i run the exhaust like this? dont want to break anything but some one just told my i could have some potential valve problems.

its loud and i am now just waiting for the new exhuast to arrive so for the time being i wanted to run around and have some fun with the loud stock exhaust.

You're a lot better off than I guy I knew from my home town that started up a rebuilt motor with absolutely NO exhaust. No headers or manifolds. What a retard.

I also cut off my exhaust before the cat, will that cause any problems "at all" ?

i allowed mother nature to rust away at the connection from the I pipe to the cat, so i have a "natural" cut out!! I was woundering why when i went for inspection, all the numbers were way way way down.. i mean like if the limmit was 100, i was at like 10-20.. hehehe not a bad idea to pass this year!! humm...
