Need help fast!!!

I went to replace my Oxygen sensor and after it was all done, I screwed up the threads on the exhaust where the sensor goes. I managed to plug the hole, but my car is running horriblly. What do I do. As far as I can tell I either replace the pipe, but that would be such a pain and I would porbably cause more problems than I have now. Or I could try to drill, tap, and possibly put one of those coil things in ( the problem with that is I can't find a tap big enough), or I can take it to a shop and just have them do it.

Ideas, suggestions, Anything please!!!!

Just drill & tap a new hole to the size of the O2 sensor and retap the old hole oversize for a pipe plug. Still a lot of work and hope you didn't screw the threads up on the sensor. Good luck.
