Corsa on a thirdgen?

I'm looking for a Corsa muffler with the over the axle pipe. I'm not looking to spend $700 for a complete Corsa cat-back that I'm just going to cut up. Do you guys know anyone with a used 4th gen kit maybe? Let me know!

Anyone on here using Corsa exhaust products?

Anyone at all using Corsa Exhaust on any of their vehicles? The F-body kit is pretty damn nice to look at, plus it makes the most rwhp out of any complete cat-back system offered.

i have a 4th gen bassani on my car. it is a full 3 inches with 3 inch tips on both sides. the muffler is HUGE compared to the flowmaster 80 series i took off. so big in fact that they had to angle the muffler down in the front ( i think) to make it fit. they also had to custom make some hangers to hold the tips upand other than the fact that he said he would NEVER do this again, it turned out pretty good. definately worth the 60 bucks installation....

I've got it on my 4th gen and yes, it would be an expensive project to cut up. I'm actually considering doing it on my IROC but just considering... Here's a 4th gen pic.

Hey Mike...
I did a bunch of research on this before. A friend of mine got a cat-back for his 02 SS. I helped him put it on, so I jacked mine up and compared it. Couple hangers and a short elbow to get the cat hooked up. Would work out great for you w/ that Mufflex set-up. Just shorten the I pipe a little, modify a couple hangers, and you'd be in business.

later, justin...

I'm working with someone in Corsa on this. I may end up just using the madrel bent over the axle pipe and the muffler. Then I may opt to put Mufflex 4 in. polished outlets. The reason why I want the Corsa muffler is because it flows better than my flowmaster and there would be less interior noise. My car is pretty damn loud! I don't mind that, but the cops in my area of town do!

Thats probably all you'll need. I forgot you got that cat in there too. That makes for a short i-pipe. - BTW I've been meaning to ask you, what size/type of tires and wheels are you running? Looks mean from behind.

They actually look wider than that in person! They are just 255/50/16 Phantom ZR's (rear) and 245/50/16 Phantom ZR's (front).

I'm currently running Kumho 712 255/50/16's and mine don't look that wide...hummmmm Phantom you say? How well do they hook up? What wheels are you on? - I'd post a pic of mine from behind, but i can't figure out how to shrink the pic size...

They are on the stock 16 in. factory 1991 Z-28 aluminum wheels. They hook-up decent for street tires. It will still roast 'em with ease through 2nd gear and thats just stomping on it from a roll, (no clutch popping). I will try to get a better pic of the tires. They look fatter than that in person.
