There are no specific kits for side pipes for thirdgens. Personally I don't think they look good on thirdgens (however dual exhaust exiting before the rear wheels looks good IMO). As far as dual exhaust goes, I think dynomax makes the only kit, but it's 2.25" pipe and it's a universal kit (flexpipe). Most dual exhaust setups are custom, such as mine. For a V6 camaro I would go with a good 2.5"-3" catback system such as dynomax, flowmaster, or hooker (haven't ever heard it, but it sounds sweet on a V8).

I want to cut a section out of my sideskirts towards the rear and have C-4 vette exhaust tips hanging in them.. kind of like the Roush Mustangs.. I think it would look sweet.

Well if you end up doing it, let us know how it works out and post up some pics.

The problem with that is the gfx don't really hang much lower than the body.

Yeah, you would have to run the pipes up close to the floor pan & still have to turn it up to go through the ground effects. It would look like poo.

I love side exit exhaust

I've always wanted to do a custom system, exiting behind my rear wheels, but there's alot of obstacles and factors involved in rigging it up like that.. such as ground clearance.. tire kick-up.. heat burning the paint.. fumes getting in the car.. etc..

I've seen a couple pics of 3rdGen Camaros with the exits before the rear wheels, and that almost always looks good too, but again... u run into the same problems as I stated before..

Either way, it can be done.. I'd love to see pics if u end up doing it

I run a dual 2.5 that moves to the outside just before the framerails start through "sweet talker bottles" and it exits before the rear tires and have minor ground clearence problems. It will hit on the odd speed bump if im goin fast but its not bad. My sweet talkers sound great nice low and mellow and very loud. I dont have a cats though no emissions in canada.
