Anyone know if this would work?
If i was to run 2 1/2" pipes from each header(shorty headers) and in the middle fo the ar have converters and at the end of the ar have one of those little bullet mufflers or glasspacks. Would this work?

Not sure exactly what you mean. Routing on both sides of the car isn't too practical.
Routing two pipes to the factory cat location with two cats, then a single pipe back to the muffler is the way the factory did dual cats. If you want to continue two pipes after the cats, adequate room becomes an issue.
Two bullet mufflers will fit in the factory muffler location.
