LOUD Exhaust

Is there anything cheap i can do to get my exhaust on my 92 Z to become louder? I'm pretty short on cash right now, sooo... Any ideas?

A new muffler would probably do it. Maybe a flowmaster or a dynomax or something. The 40 series flowmaster is supposed to be pretty damn loud. It will run you about 70 bucks for that one plus if you have it installed, that will obviously cost you more.

$35 dollar exhaust cut out, put it in place before your cat. Baby will rumble and scream, plus knock a tenth off.

Well my LG4 Exhaust sucked so I gutted the cat and dumped the exhaust right before the rear...Shes pretty loud...Wouldn't be so bad if it wasnt for 3.73s and low profile tires on 15s...I am running 2700 rpm @ 60 so you hear me coming!

You want loud? Definenlty get a cut-out.....they are sooo freakin loud....I have an elctronic cut-out on my 91 Z28 (5.7 L98) check my sig. for my full exhaust set-up

what is the purpose of guttin the cat? Why not take it off, or is it for looks when u get tested? i dunno

E-Check and state inspections require your car have a full exhaust. This means you must have some type of a cat on there. Even if it is hollowed out. They just place a mirror under the car to see if its there.
