On my 91z I have the 3-in/dual 3 out Flowmaster on. Now its a dual cat car,and i hear the system wont work cause its for a single cat 4th gen, on the 3rg gens it comes up short. well, if it runs the same path as the "I" pipe on my car, couldnt I just have it welded to wherever it comes up short? Using the existing pipe i have?

any good muffler shop should be able to do it for you....
in my car, i re-used the I-pipe of my edelbrock cat back.....works perfectly. so in essense, you'll just be replacing the rear section, and the over axle pipe.

So basically you did exactly what i described. Does your car have dual cats? Or does it matter? If you can shoot me some pics (or anyone else) I would appreciate it.
I see you live in the same hole (nj) i do. Should stop by one of the gatherings some of us locals have.

I finaly got my hooker on! anyway, the other member that has the LM on his car also has a dual cats and he took it to mufflex but im sure any shop could just weld up the 3in pipe to the resonator... wow, these meets are gunna start getting louder and louder!

Try Mufflex in Trenton NJ if you need a good shop. I had dual cats once but I had new ones spliced in and one broke up inside and another was spliced in so it was a nightmare under there especially with average shops doing the welding/work.
I had Mufflex hang an SLP y-pipe into a 3" single cat and they fabbed the rest to hang the SLP Loud Mouth. I don't have any numbers before and after yet but its 5 times louder, looks 100 times better than that garbage Dynomax cat back and tips I had on there and now I'm stainless from the block to the tips.
