SLP dual cat headers

I was wondering if anybody has the 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 SLP headers for dual cat cars...and how they fit....Im also not sure if I want the 1.62 or 1.75 primaries...my car is totally stock..and probaby will stay that way for a long time. If somebody could post some pics of the headers installed I would really appreciate it. I was going to go with Hooker...but I HAVE to stay dual cat, so I was thinking either Edelbrock or SLP...but Ive heard bad things about Edelbrocks gaskets... Suggestions comments???? Need something soon....

I have the 1 3/4 on my Z and it wasn't bad to get them installed. Sorry, I don't have any pics of the install but I can snap a few when I get home tonight. The only issue you'll probably run into, if you did a search, is the driver side coming in contact with the steering column. I like mine and I'm happy with the contruction.

Hope that helps.

Thanks...I would really appreciate the photos. Did you get yours coated as well? I dont think it would be too hard to slide the column over a little....

i had to dent the one tube to clear the steering shaft, and i moved the brake lines to the other side of the shaft.

looks nice.....Ive got the Hooker LT's on my race car...and was wondering how well they would work on my street car? I could get the Mufflex Ypipe and put two cats on it right? Could I get the cats the dont require AIR injection? Or would they clog up???? ahh...decisions decisions.....

Cats wont fit on the mufflex y-pipe. Just put that in on my brothers 82 z and there is nowhere for it to go.

I was thinking of making up a piece to fit them after the collectors.....about 6in back...like the mini converters that dont require AIR....making them flange fit...so I can take them back off after Echeck....it looks like they'd fit.....guess it depends on the converter...damn.
