Spintech owners inside for Q's??
Hows the interior noise with the spintech mufflers?I have the American Thunder catback on my car with MAC off road pipe and SLP 1-3/4 headers...and you literally cant talk to the passenger with out yelling.Anyway i need something that is a llitle quieter driving around town. I'm only going to replace the muffler on my system,I'm keeping the stainless tips and rest of the piping. Is 343SC the one I need? Also I have a Catco Cat I may put back on just for noise sake. Thanks for any replies......................jt

Yep, 343SC is what you want. You'll love it. It is only loud on the outside, no interior noise problems whatsoever. Man, that is going to sound good especially with your headers. Go for it.

Umm.....I think it lists for like $120 on Spintech's website. Pretty much any muffler shop can order it. That's just something you'll have to shop around for the best price for man. I think I got mine for $100 even at a muffler shop. He did a lot of work for me so he gave me a good price. Good luck.

I can tell you they produce less interior resonance than flowcrappers do

Carefull there Evil, you don't want to get banned like I did two times by making fun of other people's part decisions. I'm probably going to get banned here in a few hours again since some guy is ratin' on me. You know, even though I straightened up, I still get hammered. Just be careful of what you say.

Well, I ordered the Spintech 343 SC muffler today directly from Spintech. $141.20 total........shipping is a little high. They said I would have it in a few days. Cant wait to hear it on the car. Hopefully I'll be able to use all of the american thunder piping without any hassles. I know I'll have to cut the over the axle pipe to get it on.Flowmaster sends it welded to the muffler. I never had any of the exaust welded up so it should just be getting the connections loose where i had the clamps. Anyway I'll see how it sounds with the Mac offroad pipe and then try the catco cat I have. Then i'll take it and have it all welded up. I may be able to get a sound clip of it with and without cat................jt

pro-street
it's the pro-street, 6331... wish i could have use the street one,
they will be on each side of the trunk "bump" where you see the frame...
same thing as RickTPI... really. but i'll have dual 2" or 2 1/4" not bigger, and yeah, if the shop can fit 2 cats! i want them on, even if they wont survive long enough to have rust on them, lol... otherwise its illegal, anyway, when they plug or ... whatever, i'll gut them... we dont have sniffer test, no visual too, but you never know when a cop can ask to see... they can and has the rights to.

yes when i said the "street" i was speaking about the sportsman street mufflers, but they are bigger and i would have need to modif for more clearance... so yes Street Serie Mufflers.
my car is not for the track! its my summer ride!
I got them painted Low_gloss black with some spay can that said ceramic 1200f. i know they dont need temp that high, but it was the only can with Low-gloss, i dont want it shiny. it should hold on it and prevent rust.

Hey Evil, do you think you could possibly get that sound clip on here again? I want to change over to the pro-shoot out like you have (I think) when I put my new engine in...should be louder and sound mean with the cam. You don't think this muffler is too small for a more powerful engine do you? I am going to still run the 3" pipe but with hookers and have just a single outlet where my 343SC is now. Thanks.
