In need of some pics!

I need some of you guys to post some pics of your drivers side headers...I havnt purchased mine yet but I am trying to put my accessories back together. I removed my stock exhaust and when I go to put the power steering backets on it seems they tie back into the drivers side exhaust...do they do that with headers too? If so then I need to wait until I get the headers in before I put the accessories back on.

I hope you guys no what im needing.

here is a pic of where Im at...the red dots represent the bolts holes for the power steering pump. I know the AC bracket ties into the drivers side exhaust.........but does the PS?

While I'm certain this isn't 100% accurate and, the other p/s pump bracket was omitted after the 1st removal, here's the best I remember the layout...

my PS bracket must have been the one you omitted...cause mine doesnt look like that. Everything else is the same....
so it does fasten to the header/manifold, huh?

I think that bracket you have is the AC bracket.

Part of the PS bracket mounts to the first bolt on the exhaust manifold. The headers will have a thinner flange so all you need to do is make a spacer. You can use some roundstock or just slap a whole wack of washers in there.

DAMN! thats what I thought......that means it would be a waste to even start trying to fit my peices back together and then have to fight to get the headers in around them..... guess I gotta spend more money on some headers now if I want to get my car back together......Headmen elites here I come.....they better be some damn good headers too!....LOL

The 85-87 (82-84, opposite side but, same crap setup) accy cluster-f is the whole reason I spent $200 on a serpentine conversion from TACreations.
The bracket omitted is the one on the backside of the PS pump that goes from lower block to the manifod IIRC (semi-¼ circle bracket). Here's how the center part of of it goes though...

Yep, someone should go smack GM for oming p with such a F***ed up kind of bracket system. Makes so you have to remove it all just to get to, lets just say the water pump......

You got a pic of you current setup? or a link to the conversion kit you have...

Here's the link... http://www.tacreationsusa.com/bracke...ccessories.htm
It's a used stock '88-up serpentine setup. I put it on my 'bird and on my friends '72 truck. Def. worth the price on both vehicles IMO. I can't get a complete serp. setup from the u-pull locally that cheap (plus it's just a rarity to see one as well).

Yeah thats what I was looking for...I can see the upper bracket, the lower bracket and the AC bracket.....So it would be wise for me to wait until I get my headers before I go trying to put the brackets back on.......what kind of headers you got? can I see pic of your whole setup?

Headers will have to go on before brackets...those a/c brackets are the main pivoting adjustments for the p/s pump....you will have to cut out a section of this one in the pic

Also in the pic you posted, about the hole you have circled at the bottom near the timingcover-oil pan ...wrong one I think...you wanna use the hole above that... be sure to put some sealant one the threads there (through-hole I think).. good luck when you get'em
