Will there be a problem...
...with any of the headers on the market if you have D-shaped exhaust ports. I have ZZ4 heads waiting for me to put on but I want the put the haeders on at the same time. I was wondering if I can get any kind of header or will only a certain size fit. I have heard that the Hooker 2055's are a good header for the money and so are the ones from SLP (correct me if I'm wrong) but will there be a problem with the ZZ4 heads. If it helps, I have a 350 tpi (MAF type), new cat with flowmaster 3 inch exhaust, waiting in the garage to be put on are the ZZ4 heads, SLP runners, and 24# injectors. Thanks in advance. Reddragon91

OK, forgive my ignorance of some aftermarket parts - the D-shaped ports have an "arch" on the top of the port, right? If so, I can tell you that the 1-3/4" SLPs have this shape. Mine fit well, don't leak and weren't that hard to install. They aren't cheap, however, so the 2055s will beat them in that category. Sorry, I don't know about the fit of the 2055s. Hope my rambling is of some value.

My Edelbrocks fit perfectly on my ZZ4 heads. No problems or leaks at all. I think pretty much any header will work fine on D-port heads.
