Hooker Catback too LOUD

I have a hooker catback and man this thing is loud, what is the best way to tune it down. Custom pipe 2.5" into Y-Collector, 3" out to areochamber muffler, than 2.5 out and chrome tips.
here is some picture of the setup:

Hmm, I have the Hooker on my LS1 and it's not very loud, I still have the manifolds and cats though. What headers you have?

Maybe it seem loud because of the convertible and my
Hooker Competition headers part # 2460-1 Fit 82-92 Camaro.
I dont want to get a ticket for exhaust being to loud.

Hmm I am just about to install the catback with dual cats on my IROC (with headers). I heard that the Hooker catback sounded great and it wasn't too loud; that's why I chose it.

Hooker catbacks aren't loud on stock or near stock engines. Modded motors (especially with cams) will be louder though. What mods do you have?

i got my exhaust almost exactly like yours, and it isnt too loud... its actually quieter than the stock 305 with stock manifolds and y that was in it with the hooker catback before...

of course the 400 has more of a low rumble to it now, and i havent put it to the floor yet cause im still breakin it in, but its not as loud i can already tell...

Those mods would make it signifcantly louder. I bet it sounds nice.

Put some cats on it. If you don't have to take emissions, who the **** cares? If anything, take off the muffler and put on a Glasspack. Nice and LOUD!!
