hmmmmmmmmmmm do i have to lift the engine to get the headers in?

hmmmmmmmmmmm do i have to lift the engine to get the headers in?

Okay i bought hed man headers and i think i might have to lift the engine but first im going to take the valve cover off first and then see if i have to.Has anybody not had to lift there engine up?

im installing headers this week. (edelbrock) u dont need to lift the engine. u will need to disconect the air hoses and stuff they connect to the metal pipes. cut the rest of the y pipe off with a saw zaw or hacksaw. deffanitly remove the starter and sparkplugs not too hard it's just time consuming to remove all the bolts. also spray all the bolts with a good lube (not WD 40 it sucks) go to a bike shop (yes a bike shop u know where u can get schwinns and stuff) and get tri-flow it's the best i have ever used.
