hedman headers
Ok today i started my car to pull it in the shop i just got done putting new hedman standard full length headers on it. my question is is it normal for headers to smoke alot, not coming out of the header but all over.
hehe it set off the alarm on a 4th gen z28. didnt think a 305 could make that kind of noise.

That paint's just to protect them from rusting while sitting on the shelves. If they ever come off again, sandblast them and spray them with some Black Satin or get them ceramic coated. There's a guy on here that does it for less than JetHot.

or you can ceramic coat them yourself, its quite easy, you can get the stuff@ techlinecoatings.com, its called ceramakrome, it gets good results
