copper gaskets and edelbrocke headers

I was wondering if anyone is using copper gaskets with edelbrocke headers and if so where did you get them, and what part # are they. I appreciate any help I can get.Thanks.

As far as I know no one makes copper gaskets for Edelbrock headers (donut style). If you find some please share the info. I'm in the process of putting on some gaskets from AutoZone (when ever I get time). I picked up a donut gasket there for 89 cents.

How about the header to block gasket which I think he may have been asking about.

They're not copper, but Mr Gasket "UltraSeal" header gaskets have always done me right. They hold up to plenty of abuse, as long as the bolts are kept snug.

If you're really stuck on metal shim gaskets, check Thunder/Jegs/Summit for either SCE copper gaskets, or Percy's aluminum ones.

I'm running SCE copper shim head gaskets and no complaints thus far, first season w/ them is nearly over with one more run at Lime Rock to go.

Ahh, sorry about that. I just assumed it was collector.

I'm using SCE's copper gaskets as well. I coated them lightly with Permatex Ultra Copper just to make sure they seal tight. If the bolts loosen, and they will, they will not blow out like other gaskets.
