SLP tri-y headers L98 angle plug heads

I was wondering if the slp tri-y headers will fit 84 Z28 305 L69 with L98 alluminum angle plug heads.SLP says their present models DO NOT fit these heads.I have called 1 time and e-mailed 2 times to make sure but have not asked about tri-ys .If any one can help it would be greatly appreciated......Thanx......... 65 panhed.

I am running the SLP 1 3/4 coated, non AIR headers on my 350 with the Aluminum L98 heads. its a little tough to get at the plugs but they will work.

It will fit just fine. I originally ran a 350 with L98 Alum angle plug heads with SLP Tri-Y headers with no problem at all. Its a nice setup. You will need a shortened spark plug socket to get to some of the plugs but its not bad at all.

Yes there are a lot of concerns with these headers but they are really supposed to run well and they will keep me smog legal.....

The 1 3/4" line up just fine, but the 1 5/8" (like all 1 5/8" headers from all manufacturers) are questionable.

yeah I really wanted to use a good proven header in the smog legal shorty style without spending a thousand bucks.I asked about grinding the header ports but that wouldn't work either.I guess that I will call hooker again, their gonna know me on a 1st name basis when I'm through............thanx for input

Thats strange . I have hooker 2055s and aluminum L98 heads . I measured the port on the heads and the ones on the headers and the ports on the headers are bigger than the ports on the heads length and width wize .
