Well, as some of you may know, MAC is located in Temecula, CA. Incidentally, I am also from the same godforsaken town. Anyway, there is someone who works there who goes to my friend's taekwondo and we both know him. Anywho, he said he would be able to hook us and several people up with some MAC stuff. It won't be ungodly cheap, but I told him that we're all poor and every little bit helps
Luckily I paid $500 for headers, y-pipe, catatlytic converter, test pipe, cat-back, and underdrive pullies on my '91 RS.
Granted it won't be THAT cheap, but I think he mentioned something like 25% off on average, but who knows.
If anyone is remotely interested, shoot me an email at duffmanrha@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Eric

Well, in my opinion it sounds better than Flowmaster (yes, that is subjective i know). But it is LOUD, but is not as deep per se as Flowmaster. However, the sound builds with the RPMs. Wow, I really can't explain this well at all. It's kinda like trying to describe the color blue to someone who has never even seen it :P
i wish someone had a clip, but IMO it sounds AWESOME (not to mention easy to install as ****)

Actually to tell you the truth I would have bought them at full price anyway. The reasons being many. For one, their headers cost just as much as the competitors, and do the same thing. Secondly, they are VERY easy to install (not just the headers, but everything), and require no welding. In fact, the only thing you will need that you probably don't have is a pipe expander, which I rented from Auto Zone for free! Thirdly, I didn't want to be like everyone else and get Flowmaster, or Edelbrock, or what have you.
So to answer your question(s), yes I think they sound great, and I would have paid in full for them anyway (since in the end, they usually cost less than otehr systems anyway)

Oh yea don't forget, I can still get deals on all the other MAC stuff, such as springs, LCAs, etc. etc.

THey got their start on Mustang stuff, and now do Camaros a lot too. THey also do Chevy/GMC trucks and SUVs and also Ford trucks and SUVs. Hell, they also started with motorcycle stuff too! But check them out on their website at
http://www.macperformance.com
Like I said, they are based out of Temecula (where I live) so lemme know what you want, e-mail me with that and preferably a part number, and I'll get back to you! Some people from here have already emailed me, and I may try to put together a Group Purchase if enough people are interested!
Thanks,
Eric
