This got under my skin.

OK so i just put on my new exhuast system its basani cat-back, the cat is random technology and the headers are hooker. its 3" all the way thru. I also put an open element breather on why I was at it. The breather took me 10mins very simple. Anyway I took it out for a test drive man it sounds cool. About 10mins into the drive I get caught at a red light in the turn lane going left. When my light turned green of course I turned left when I started going straight I gave it a little gas showing of feeling all cool not lookin ahead. anyway I look up there's a guy stopped in the my lane not doin anything. I have to whip into the other lane so fast my car started goin into a fish tail I get it under control, and I look back. When I look back I see the guy start driving again so I know there was no car trouble. About a mile up the road he stops next to me and gives me the bird and telling me to pay more attention then he takes off. I catch up to him at the next light and had a few words of my own. Finally after a few more lights I won are little war and he turned off. I know this is way off the exhaust topic , but its the closest I could find. I was just wondering has anything that just ticks you off so much u want to step-out of the car happend to you? also do you think it was my fault? Let me just add there where no caution lights flashing and yes his lights were functioning perfectly.

Here is the rule....

Please do not get the impression that we are trying to ruin your fun or somehow limit your self-expression! There is a time and a place for everything, and this website has chosen to remain Tech-Only. If you feel the need or desire to discuss off-topic subjects, there are other sites out there for it.

I guess I need to start reading the top. I think this site is great, but it's the only active camaro site i've seen. I've went to others and it takes days for a reply. In my mind it would just be a great additon. Maybe not off-topic furom or not i'm goin stick to this one.:hail:

This isn't a site for chit chat like a lot of other sites are. You will love the way the forums are split up to address every technical aspect of a 3rd gen without getting your posts bombarded and pushed down the page in 2 seconds like other sites do. You need to keep your posts technical only and you will enjoy yourself much more. I would geuss that this thread will be locked in a matter of minutes once a moderator reads it. But it is okay and now you know how this site works. There are chat rooms for the other stuff.

I didn't know Basani made cat-back for third gens.
How much do they usually run?
From what I here Basani makes some of the best ehaust systems.

Wow basani is a pretty big company, of course they do. I shopped around and found that thunder racing has the best. $599.99

no offence, but it sounds like you need to watch where you're going. there will always be dumb asses that don't have a clue how to drive. its a responsible driver's responsibility to avoid those people.

thats IMO tho...

They do make an exhaust for the f-bodies but I thought it was only for the 4th gens. Did you order a 4th gen setup and make it fit your car?
