Header question

I have a set of Hooker Competition headers for my LO3 that I got for free with the car when I bought it. They don't have the AIR tubes and I was wondering if it would hurt anything by not having AIR tubes hooked up. This is the only thing holding me back from putting them on so some help here would be nice. Keep in mind I still have the air tube going to my cat so hopefully i can throw these things on finally. Thanks.

No it won't and you will be fine. it would also be a good time to take off your smog pump. You could leave it on after you disconnect everything from it but it will sieze up over time and make funny noises.

After researching these headers (hooker comp 2460's) I realize I'm better off selling them. Why would anyone make a header but not a Y-pipe to fit it? It's pretty weak that I have to sell a brand new set of headers because of something so stupid. Anyong know of any headers that are just as good and have a Y-pipe?

Hedman #68470 and y-pipe #17470

If those #2460 are brand new you can trade them in on a new set with us!!!!

Slowmaro91RS, i see you are in PA. Doesn't your county have emissions yet? If so, be careful what you take off...

Any where from $75 to $300 just depends on the shop and the quality. Currently we are not making y-pipes for the Hooker #2460's
