no they wont clear...... they'll smack into the firewall first, and even if they didnt, they try to exit where the "frame rails" are under the car.... not inside them, but in the same space as them.

it was one of thoes "lets just try it" kind of things...
thinking about it, they could have been 1stgenfbody headers but i thought they were chevelle.... and chevelle = elky.

i guess it does depend on the year of the elky and the types longtube vs short. he obviously is using the longtubes but from what years. that will make the difference.
