hedman y pipe and shorties dont match

hedman y pipe and shorties dont match

85 camaro berlinetta 305 I hooked up the y pipe to the passenger side and when i go to hook up drivers side attachment falls just short of header anyone else have this problem?? thanks

Car: 89 Camaro RS
Engine: 305 TBI
Transmission: T5
I have the exact setup and the y pipe comes with an adapter to fit the drivers side header. Check your equipment again, it should be there with a separate clamp.

hello, I have a reman gm 305 same engine that was taken out was put in so they told me. I have put the little black adaptor on and it falls short

You have to loosen or unbolt the other side first, then it should fit. It just needs to bend a little.

I had that same problem man. My passengar side fit but the drivers side wasn't long enough. I had to have a piece of pipe added so it would fit. I have a '67 oil pan on mine without the valley for the exhaust in it. That is why mine didn't fit. Do you have a valley in yours where it runs under your oil pan?

Does anyone happen to have a pic under the car of the y-pipe connected to the headers, because my hedman y-pipe looks like it wont even come close to fitting my headers. Looks almost if my exhaust would be coming out the front of the car but I havent had the pipe under the car up to the headers yet. Thanks
