Jegs

For part # 520-16822, why is it only from 83-85? What is needed to get it to work on an 82? I have the catback system in a box upstairs.

The "simple" answer would be engine VIN codes G & F weren't offered in '82. Not sure about the LU5 differences between '82 & '83.

As for what it will take to get it to work: Most likely some fabrication/adaptation at the cat outlet.

I just got an e-mail back from Holley.

You would have to modify the fron of the headpipe. the 82 models were different where they hooked up to the cat.
thanks

That doesn't matter since I picked up a 3 inch catco cat.
