Why isn't this catback listed for my year car?

For part # 520-16822, why is it only from 83-85? What is needed to get it to work on an 82? I have the catback system in a box upstairs.

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
The "simple" answer would be engine VIN codes G & F weren't offered in '82. Not sure about the LU5 differences between '82 & '83.
As for what it will take to get it to work: Most likely some fabrication/adaptation at the cat outlet.

I just got an e-mail back from Holley.
You would have to modify the fron of the headpipe. the 82 models were different where they hooked up to the cat.

That doesn't matter since I picked up a 3 inch catco cat.
