I want to get an aftermarket muffler, what mufflers are out there that have the outlets the way the stock ones do, one on each side? Need some ideas as i hate my stock muffler

Lets see Flowmaster, Hooker, Dynomax, Edelbrock, Magnaflow, Spintech, and im sure there are others im forgetting, but the thing you gotta look for is for the description to say either crossflow, or camaro/firebird replacement.

the only flow, aster one i know of is the 80 series for my car. So camaro/firebird replacemt might not necessarily have dual outlets on opposite sides? But the crossflow does

If you're looking at the Flowmaster replacement for Third Gens, it will be the 80 Series 3" in and dual 2 1/2" outlets. Other companies usually use the same diameters for replacements but some have the tailpipes on only a single side or only have a single outlet. It's better to buy an entire exhaust system then just the muffler. It will be worth it, if you can't afford it now it would be better to just wait.

most companies make one.

magnaflow
borla
flowmaster
hooker
dynomax
spintech
edelbrock
etc etc

if you don't see it on a site call them. like borla's is not really on thier site but they make it. most companies sell the tailpips as well. you could buy a flowmaster muffler and magaflow tips if you wanted. I have a friend who did that. like the flowmaster sound and magnaflow look so he just did it.

listen to some sound clips and then buy the one you like

The exhaust system is brand new from the headers back so I really don't want to buy a whole new system

so you bought a stock replacement one? like one that is the same diameter and everything but new? if so you should have just bought a performance system while you were at it but if it was already there when you got it then i dont know what to tell you. its going to hold you back as long as it is the stock diameter, but for sound i like hooker aerochamber, gives you a deep rumble and pretty loud but not obnoxiously loud.

everything from the cat back is stock size, I put it on because I didn't have the money to go all out, I don't plan on doing any racing and such, just want a nice deep tone.
