?? on my exhaust.

Ok when i first bought my car all it had on it for exhaust was a catco 3" cat. It sounded AWESOME!! But it was sooo loud. Then i took off the cat and did the straight pipe. My car ever since has been throwing codes so im going to put the cat on again and run a straight pipe all the way back into a single out on the drivers side. No muffler. What do you think this would sound like. I sounded awesome with just the cat. Will thw pipe mellow it out and still have the sound that i like? I was also thinking of adding a glasspack in the routing somewhere. Any input? I dont want to spend but 20-30 dollars on this project. What do you guys think

i am not a fan of the 305 minus a muffler. i currently have a set of moroso spiral race mufflers on mine, it's ok, but i am going to change to a single 3" catback soon. i know so many people running big numbers with a single, i just can't justify not doing it. it just makes sense. the car looks good, sounds good, and will perform well.

jmho.

yeah im not a fan of any stock gm car with no muffler. But this thing sounds just like a loudmouth LS1 that my buddys uncle has. It just sounds awesome. It has the high flow cat on it so its toned.

To stay within your budget I would use a bullit style muffler over a glass pack. Some glass packs are not free flowing at all. A bullit will help quiet the car down a bit for your allotted 30 buck budget. It is not as effective as a muffler but better than a glass pack or nothing at all.

yeah i just dont want to put too much cash into it and have it sound like chit. so if i only spend $30 its not a big deal. And most likely ill enjoy the sound. Thats all that matters
