Which flowmaster??

i have a 91 camaro RS, 305, TBI, with all stock exhaust, --But cat was replaced, but i assume it is another stock one bc i didnt tell them to put on a special one-- anyways i was wondering which american thunder cat-back exhaust kit to get there are lots of choices and i dont know which on fits my car. i want the flowmaster 80s muffler and dual exhaust. if anyone can tell me the part # of which kit to get it would be greatly apreciated.

The FlowMaster 80's series is a single in duel out muffler. So you would have to try something else if you wanted true duels.

I believe he means dual outlets.

Do you have any future plans for exhaust upgrades? Reason I ask is you aren't addressing the restriction that comes before the catback, namely the y-pipe & cat (one could add the exhaust manifolds to that list).

If you get a catback that is specific to your application, it will have to be modified if you upgrade the front stuff later on.

Gutting the cat is pretty worthless, performance wise. Makes the exhaust a little louder and dirtier, that's all.

Many people have the Flowmaster system.

PN 17233 (single 3" in, dual 3" out) is what I have on my '92 RS. I also had headers & a hi-flo 3" cat installed with the cat-back.

If I were you, I would get the 3" system. This will allow a lot better flow and will be more receptive to future mods. You can always have the exhaust shop weld on a reducer if you are wanting to keep the stock cat.
