True duals clearance ? with stock crossover

Got a question for the guys runnin true duals. I have my exhaust mocked up. I have managed to get the pipes to clear the stock trans crossmember by a 1/4 of an inch at its closest point. I have the energy suspension poly motor mounts and was wondering how much the engine torques to one side under max load. If the 1/4 " clearance is enough or are the pipes gonna smack the crossmember everytime I get on it hard or try and launch at the track.

Thanx
Doc

you might try putting a torque strap on the drivers side of the eng. ... i used a turn buckel and welded the eyes closed bolt one end to the frame and the other end to the eng. ... once installed i adjust it snug ... there is no noticeable movement in the eng. ... however the down side is vibration ... i dont find it a problem but some might ... good luck ... tao

Solid motor mounts might help too.
