A friend of mine has an areochamber on his car. Sounds very good butt it is extremely loud. I would prob compare it in loudness to like SLP loudmouth. Its pretty loud but sounds good. Even pretty loud at idle......

I have that setup, and its in no way as loud as a loudmouth. Its louder than dynomax, and probably comparable to a Flowmaster IMO...

thank you Mystikkal_69, you just sold me on the whole hooker exhaust setup
I was easily persuaded though... that sound clip that Hooker has on their website just sounds wicked.
I wont be able to get headers for my setup for a few months though... do the headers change the tone, or just the loudness of the exhaust?

i'm sure headers change the tone and the loudness of the exhaust note. don't quote me on that since i did the entire system at once. i couldn't dare leave those ugly stock manifolds in there for another minute.

On a 10.5:1 built 350 it's louder than hell......maybe I'm just getting too old though
I have Hooker full length headers also. I have actually been looking at some ways to quiet it down some. I put new tips on an that helped out a little.

You guy's opinion of loud and mine must be completely different. I love the loudness of the Hooker catback I got. No where near LM IMO, but oh well. I guess I am used to the guys I hang out w/ having the 4" Mufflex w/ Spintech w/ LT headers... THAT IS LOUD...

i have 3" single exhaust on mine with hooker headers and a hooker aerochamber. i love the way it sounds. its actually quiet. i put a 3" aero on my 88 bonne i had and it was louder than on my camaro (it was off of a junk car at my dads shop, ghetto, i know, but sounded a hell of a lot better than fart cans on an import).
