What LT headers will fit with K-Member?
I'll be going to the ProFab K-member with tubular LCAs and Coil-over, and didn't want to just limit myself to Hooker 2210's. This is a 441ci motor, with tall-deck Eagle block, so I'll need all the primaries I can get.
So, any suggestions on long-tube headers? Anything 1-7/8" that'd fit? I assume that the K-member will give me mongo clearance, but on the other hand I never hear about anyone going crazy with header selections after a K-member.
Any other options? I'd like stainless with 1-7/8" if possible.

I wonder if there's any way that some 2207 Hooker Super Comp will fit. They're for a '69 Camaro, but I hsould have lots of extra room with that K-member and all.

i donno about that.. the motor is closer to the ground in these cars.....
but i do know the hooker longtubes fit easily. they just slipped on in from the bottom without any hassle.

Okay, what about oil pan clearance? That Iron Eagle block I'll be using has spreaded rails, I think 0.3" wider on each side.

the "tube" that cuts across on the PA and ProFab crossmembers is in about the same location as the leading edge of the stock crossmember. so absolutly no oil stump problems
the metal pads welded on that the motor mounts bolt to dont even come close to the pan rails, so it'll clear the spread rails just fine.

heres a pic of one. you can see the "plates" that the motor mounts bolt to will easily clear the engine once the mounts are on.

OK then, I'm changing gears.
Two possibilities:
SLP 1-3/4" SS shorties with tubular ProFab K-Member
or
Hooker 2210s with same ProFab piece.
A friend of mine told me that on his 94, he could NOT get the PARacing K-member to work with the SLP shorties. Seems weird. I think the case might be different for our cars.
Also, I think the whole shorty vs LT argument is bull, and I'd challenge folks to show me the hard data. I'm open-minded to hard data, but all the theoretical BS is just that when it comes to 4000+ RPM.
