Any users of MAC Headers?

MAC header and Y-Pipe's? I am in the market for new headers, since my Hooker Comp headers warped , and would like a few opinions on these headers as I don't know of anyone using them. Or should I just stay with the Hooker, Hedman or SLP headers and leave it alone. Thanks

I've seen them installed on a car, i'd use them over edelbrock and hedman, i'd take SLP's first then hooker 2460's over them though.

Hooker 2460's are a cruel joke. Nothing decent for a y-pipe available, thicker gage primaries reduces the flow area, etc., etc., etc.

Hooker 2055's aren't perfect, but they can be made closer to that than the other choices.

The Macs are almost identical to the 2055's. The y-pipes are just about on par with each other from the sets I have seen. They also have a more hidden AIR main tube. I have not seen AIR hooked up t them so I am not sure if any fab work would be needed there. None the less they are one of the more appealing headers out there.

I would rate them along the lines as such.

Sorry I got mixed up and meant 2055's

The mac's air injection goes straight into the collector between the tubes...

yup the 2055's in stock form, the collector is claimed at 3" but is really 1.75" because of the ball/flange mounting style. I managed to cut them out to 2.25, so 1/2 inch bigger. and still get them to seal, but Five7 pointed out whe I was doing it that sealing is an issue to watch for and I almost got bit on it, I was lucky I think.

but 2055's I would say are best bang for the buck.

What about the Hedman "Torque Step" headers? Anyone use these before?
