if there the hooker 2460 headers prepare for a long wait.

you can get the y pipe from jegs for $200 but there on backorder. i ordered mine on 3/15. i called yesturday and they said my y pipe is goin to be shipped from Hooker Headers to Jegs on 4/13, when it ships from Hooker it takes 4-5 days to get to Jegs and then they have to ship to me which will take another 4-5 days.

so that about how long ur lookin for on the wait if you have the 2460 headers and want a y pipe that fits good and doesnt look like crap.

Buy a Flowmaster Y collector, take it to a shop w/ mandrel bending machine, or if they do not have one in the area, buy some 90* bends, take them to the shop and have them make a custom one...

would i be stupid to make the stocl Y pipe work with these headers that i have..... are the stock Y pipes that come on these cars realy restrictive.... or should i just save up and buy the y pipe.... cause i think i could make the stock Y pipe wirk if needed....

I'm gonna do the same thing. It is restrictive, but its still gonna flow better with headers and a stock y pipe, then manifolds and a stock y pipe. If you were to say you were never gonna replace the stock y pipe, then there is no point in the headers. But as a temporary, what the hell

i work at pepboys and i dont order anything i dont have to mainly becuz all retail store mark up the prices alot. like my long tubes i got from jethot were $595 from pepboys or any other store i went to, to see if they where cheaper and the price didnt change much between $750-$795.

i perfure to shop with Jegs or Summit more then i would with my own store or any other store. even though emplyoee discount isnt bad

hey red25th how much was ur ypipe from ur store with no discount?

I see that Mufflex makes a y-pipe for Hooker Super Comp Longtubes...Here

Also, for the 2460's y-pipe, would the hedman y-pipe work too? Or is it totally different? I see that it is the only one listed with 3" inlet and 3" outlet for shorties.
