question bout my new setup

hey guys....im currently running the 3 inch spintech catback...i have the cat cutout with a straight pipe in place of it......welll i just got my coated hooker 2460's and y pipe.....what i want to know is....i have to replace the rusted pipe thats in place of my cat cuz it now has holes in it......if i put a dynomax bullet muffler there will it make my exhaust quiet....i wouldnt think soo being straight thru.....but any insight on this would be great...becuz my spintech is the perfect noise level...not to loud at idle and cruise but when i romp on it..it sounds like a beast

I really don't know how it would sound putting muffler in place of the cat and then the muffler at the end as well but if it sounds just how you want it now, can't you just go to a muffler shop or some place like that and get some 3 inch stainless pipe and replace the pipe that is rusting? The stainless piece might be cheaper than the dynomax bullet muffler and it shouldn't rust on you like your old piece did. Just my thoughts on this.
