My Exhaust

3 inch single exhaust
MAC Headers
MAC Cat
DynoMax Bullet Muffler
Quicktime cutout

I am estimating about a 30 rwhp gain in this system. Without using cutout, only reason im doing exhaust and cutout is because I have emissions, I can cruise with exhaust but race with quicktime and the ocasional open header romp by the imports ^_^

I wouldn't estimate a 30 rear wheel hp gain from an exhaust. Unless you were running some kind of horrible exhaust to begin with. 30 rwhp would be like 70hp at the crank.

It will help thought.

I am gaining 21 rwhp from the headers alone. Almost 6 from cat, and whatever muffler gives benefit of the doubt...4.

Haha, maybe if you were using a home-made torque converter lol.

For the threadstarter, looks like you have a pretty nice setup in mind. Pretty loud though, even when the cutout is closed.

are you sure you will get 30bhp at the wheels that sounds quite a gain from just an exhaust system , even if the its replacing a stock system,. like 88camaro350 said 30 at the wheels is around double that at the crank. sound a nice system though mate
