Summit Headers

Did a search on them couldnt find nothing on them, i just wanted opinions from people who have them or people who know anyone that has had them. I seen edelbrocks, hooker, slp, and other brands, but theres the money factor. thanks guys

They are identical to the Flowtech headers. They are made by Flowtech.

how are they junk? just wondering cause i was probley going to go with thoughs headers to

They are very poorly made... the flanges warp easily and don't seal. Shifty has a thread about these headers you should look at.

Also, even if you do get them to seal, the pipes are tiny... most headers are 1-5/8" tubes and 3" collectors, some are bigger.

These headers have 1.5" tubes, and 2.5" collectors. Not very good. The Y-pipe is no better than the factory one either.

buy some used quality headers...if you keep looking you can get some for under 100 bucks just gotta look and have cash

I bought a set of summit headers for my truck. Never had any leaking issues (except for the header bolts getting loose, but the gaskets resealed after retorquing).

Hmmmm, i guess ill continue to save up for some Edelbrock TES

I would save $20 more and get the Hooker 2055's. I think you will be happier that way.

Single cat. This is okay since it is cheaper to run a single 3" cat than it is to run duals.
