Need help w/ the exhaust on my 86 Camaro. It has a ProCharged 350 running about 14#s of boost. Here's the problem, I have to use my Hedman shorty headers and Y-Pipe as well as a Spohn Crossmember for my T-56.

None of the exhaust shops around here will touch my car, and they don't know anything about performance. So, I will be building the system myself. Welding is not a problem, I just don't know what parts to get. I was thinking about ordering some of the pre-bent pipes from Jegs/Summit, but don't know where to start. Not sure what size to run, how to run it, and what muffler to get. The car doesn't have a cat. so that's not an issue.

Please help, and let me know if you need more info. on my setup.

Well my friend, all I can tell you is that I am in the same boat. I have a 383, with a T-56 and 2210s, (hooker long tubes). I am going to go oval right away and then just run them straight back with only slight bends from heating the pipe. I too can weld, so any major bends I will just cut and weld. Then run some spintech "cruiser" mufflers that are only 2 1/4" thick. All tucked up as high as possible. Might not be the best for overla power, but def gonna flow and keep my clearance up there.
