the guys at Summit are idiots!

i guess i can blame myself for this too.....

when choosing between the edelbrock ti tech coated and the hooker 2055s i went with the edelbrocks, only because they are coated and come without the air tubes.(claimed the guy i was talking to) well i got them in today and guess what, they have air tubes!!!! i called them up and they are shipping me 2055s and are having UPS pick up the edelbrocks. everything happens for a reason though.......i think ill be happier with the hookers

The Hooker 2055's are a far superior header system than the Edelbrocks. You are better off with them ten fold.

Aside from the guy telling you they didnt have AIR tubes, did you look at any of the pictures? I couldnt find any that didnt have AIR. But I didnt look real long, besides the hookers are much nicer anyway, easier install too.

the guy must have been new.. I have talked to them a few times.. although mine are more on the tech side of the place and ussually you can order through them too if you need to, but i have always gotten very good answers out of them. But then, I ussually get thier catalog, and i have not seen an edlebrock set of headers that didn't have the air tubes in them, seen plenty of hookers without them though. Same with the some of the others.

after spending thousands of dollars at summit, i have yet to have one problem with them...

the government might as well write summit racing on my paychecks and mail them to their store, it would save some time...
