That sucks i just hooked my magnaflow up, just waiting on my 383 to be finished. I was hoping it was at least as loud as my flowmaster 80 series. Bummer!

The Magnaflow is quieter than other "loud, annoying" mufflers like Flowmaster, but it does have a good exhaust sound. I like my Magnaflow TONS better than the Flowmaster I had on there.

To each their own i suppose, but flowmaster had a great sound when i had it, not like the slp resinoator bull****, sounded like an actual engine nice and deep, it doesnt compair to the newly installed borla, but still, wasnt bad

Exactly. Give it time. When I first got mine, it was real quiet. Now, it's not quiet any more!!! It's not too bad at idle and crusing around at low power settings, but at WOT it's loudern'hell.

Nowhere near as loud, which is good. Those Flow 80s are irritating. But consider that the Maggie will outflow the Flow, which is really what the bottom line is anyway. Give it time, it will get louder, believe me! You will come to appreciate the quieter Magnaflow, you will be able to hear the stereo and talk to your passengers without shouting. And yet, at WOT, when the engine goes over 3000 rpm, it will be LOUD.
