If it's stock, it needs to be probably 3-4 inches higher.

you know im not sure, im thinking now that it has somthing to do with the way my engine sits,. i was looking at it and the passengerside mount seems to have a bolt missing also it sits a lil to the back/side1
so i wonder if i fix that problem if it will lift that pipe a lil higher!

I was gonna say, it looks like your engine mounts are toast. If you can, open the hood and get someone to sit inside the car and rev the motor and see how much it moves around in there. I can guarantee thats the probem.

Pretty much, plus if they're constantly soaked in oil from leaks over the years.

You might consider poly replacements. Even with the mounts shot, the exhaust looks low to me. Check the cat hanger for adjustment. As is, be careful of a snake crossing the road or you'll lose something.

that's lower than my longtubes! it's lower than the sub frame!!! bad mounts would never hang that low you are talking about over a 3" lower than normal height, the oil pan would be on the frame. and BTW the eng. mounts only mount with 3 bolts to the frame. what it looks like to me (with out knowing anything else and since the picture only shows one small part) like some one has shorty headers on the car and fabbed the stock y-pipe to fit.
